About WGN Regional Assembly
The WGN Regional Assembly is geographically-based and consists of three grassroots group representatives, with one alternate, from each core region. Initially, Wisconsin’s eight Congressional Districts will be the geographic units, thereby allowing for a Regional Assembly of 24 members. The Regional Assembly duties include but are not limited to:
- Meet via conference call or other means, quarterly, to provide a review of outcomes and impact of significant grassroots activities in their geographic area and to provide observations on issues of local importance and recommendations for resources needed.
- Act as resource to local members and groups for the information and assistance available through the WGN Council and Task Force, such as the WGN website, conference call capability, printed literature, etc.
- Provide leadership in the undertaking of regional events and workshops.
